F I N A L L Y! Some of my favorite TV shows are or will be back in the swing of things starting this week! This past break in TV was brutal for me. Nothing, and I do mean nothing, was on besides old overly run holiday episodes and movies. Like, why must everything go off at once?!
Ok, maybe I'm being a bit mellow dramatic...the break wasn't all bad. It did give me a chance to actually utilize my Netflix subscription. I was able to catch up on, or in some instances start watching, some really good shows like The Get Down, Luke Cage, Sense 8, Chewing Gum, and Grace and Frankie.
My current line up looks like this:
The Haves & the Have Nots || This show is just full of mess and I am here for it! Scripted drama > reality scripted drama! Lets see how Veronica and Candace young maneuver through the mess they've conjured up.
Being Mary Jane || Anything with Gabby, I'm watching! No question about it!
This Is Us || Tripped into this show and have been hooked since.
Lethal Weapon || Its good seeing both Damon Wayans and Keesha Sharp back on TV! Been following them since My Wife and Kids and Girl Friends!
Star || Lee Daniels has really been doing a good job and with his shows so this was a no brainer adding it to my line up! I really enjoy the platform and visibilty that its giving a number of the cast and community.
TGIT || Grey's Anatomy, How to Get Away with Murder (HTGAWM), and Scandal! Here for it!
Rosewood || its based in my hometown and is currently giving me more excitement than Empire is... Step it up Empire.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta || habitual watching is what goes on here lol.
Netflix:
House of Cards (Feb 2017) || Frank is cut throat and i really appreciate show that break the 4th dimension.
Sense 8 || This show was a lot to follow but at the time we got into it there was nothing else on TV. But y'all, this is a really good show! I hate that they change
