When you think of a guest room, what is the first thing that comes to mind?

For us, we really struggled to figure out exactly what we wanted to do with ours because nothing was coming to mind.

We searched a number of photos on googles, saw tons of styled properties and came up with the idea of re-purposing the things that we purchased and weren't doing anything with over the years.

So we hung the props from our engagement shoot, set up the lamps from our apt in undergrad, and hung a fairly large canvas panting of us above the bed.

A few month go by and I am over and partly bugged out with such a huge canvas painting of my wife and I over bed that's designated for our guest quarters. I don't know about you but i would prefer to not have my loved ones photos plastered above a bed that I would be sleeping in for the length of my stay. So it was essentially back to the drawing board with only a matter of weeks before hosting guest! I had to come up with something quick. *logs into Pintrest*

During my Pintrest search I get a notification from Instagram that they are removing the maps option feature from user profiles which in turn pissed me off! (That was honestly how I was keeping track of the placed we'd visited!) I channeled that frustration into my search and settled on doing a pin map thus killing two birds with one stone! (deats on that project will go in another post, stay tuned)

Over this past holiday season we hosted a few guest and they all raved about the re-purposed items and really enjoyed our Pin Map! *WOOT WOOT*

*dont mind the FSU trunk, the bed is too high for my goddaughter to get in without it*
